Waterproof
A 20,000 mm waterproof rating provides dependable protection through heavy rain and wet outdoor play. Every seam is fully welded to prevent water from entering through the garment’s construction.
Breathable
The poreless Sympatex membrane absorbs moisture from inside the garment and moves it outward, where it can evaporate. This helps children stay comfortable while running, climbing and playing.
Three-Layer Construction
Our bonded fabric combines three layers:
- A soft inner layer that manages moisture
- A waterproof and breathable membrane
- A durable outer layer made for active play
Together, they provide lightweight protection without the heavy, plastic feeling of conventional rainwear.
PFAS-Free
The Sympatex membrane is made without PFAS or PTFE. It is made from polyester and polyether and is certified to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX and bluesign approved. Sympatex confirms these material attributes.
Made with Recycled Materials
Recycled PET is transformed into polyester yarn and woven into durable performance fabric. Using recycled material keeps existing resources in circulation and reduces reliance on virgin raw materials.
fairechild garments are designed to be worn for years, repaired when needed, passed down and eventually recycled.
One caution: before publishing, I would confirm whether “OEKO-TEX certified and bluesign approved” applies to your full laminate or only the Sympatex membrane. The wording should match the certification paperwork exactly. Also, bluesign itself advises against presenting its system as an absolute consumer-safety guarantee, so this version avoids that overstatement. bluesign explanation
