BOOKINGS
Round Lake Resort offers a reasonably priced collection of waterfront cottages available for weekly rentals throughout the summer season. During the quieter months of June and September, cottages may also be rented for three-night weekends or full-week stays.
Whether visiting for swimming, campfires, paddling, or quiet mornings by the lake, the resort remains a simple and welcoming place to reconnect with nature and family.
ABOUT US
Daphne Hauser and her son Jo Hauser purchased and managed Round Lake Resort from 1979 to 2012. Today, Jo operates the resort alongside his sister, Gay Osler.
Together with their partners and children, they continue to care for this special collection of lakeside cottages and welcome returning guests and new families each season.

ROOSTER
Sleeping up to 6 guests, Rooster Cottage sits on a gentle rise overlooking the waterfront, surrounded by mature trees and open lawn space ideal for families and larger gatherings.
The cottage includes three bedrooms, with two queen beds and a third bedroom with two single beds. Large windows throughout the living space bring in natural light and views toward the lake, while the spacious deck extends the living area outdoors for meals, reading, and evening gatherings.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, stove, fridge, and microwave, making Rooster especially comfortable for longer stays. Electric heat also allows for enjoyable spring and autumn visits during cooler weather.
Relaxed, spacious, and quietly set back from the shoreline, Rooster is well suited to larger families looking for a slower pace by the lake.

MAPLE
Maple Cottage is a classic vertical log cabin with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and beautiful elevated views over the lake. The cottage features a comfortable living and dining area with easy chairs gathered around a small wood-burning stove.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge, stove, and microwave, while two spacious bedrooms make the cottage ideal for families or small groups. One bedroom includes a queen bed and sitting area, while the second offers three single beds.
Sliding doors from the living room open onto a large deck and outdoor fire pit area, while a second deck off the kitchen is nestled among the trees and includes a picnic table and barbecue. Complimentary firewood is available from the woodpile.

SUNFLOWER
Perched above the lake, Sunflower Cottage is the smallest and most intimate cottage at Round Lake Resort. Ideal for a young family or peaceful retreat, the cottage features one spacious bedroom with a queen bed and two single beds, along with a private bathroom and shower.
The compact galley kitchen opens into a comfortable living and dining area, while the large screened-in porch offers an inviting place to gather, read, or share meals surrounded by the sounds of summer.
Outside, guests can enjoy a private barbecue, picnic table, and campfire pit. Complimentary firewood is available from the woodpile.

Inside, a large stone fireplace anchors the living room, surrounded by pine interiors and simple comfortable furnishings. The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge, stove, and microwave, while the dining area looks out toward the lake and surrounding trees.
The cottage includes one queen bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds, making Briar especially well suited to families or small groups seeking a relaxed and traditional lakeside stay.

Sleeping up to 5 guests, Pickerel is one of the original cottages at Round Lake Resort, built in the 1930s from logs and stone gathered directly from the property itself. Set directly beside the water with its own rocky shoreline, the cottage feels deeply connected to the landscape around it.
A large lakeside deck extends toward the water and becomes the natural gathering place throughout the day, whether for morning coffee, swimming, or evenings watching the light fade across the lake.
Inside, the cottage features a massive stone fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a welcoming dining area beside large windows overlooking the shoreline. The two-bedroom layout includes one queen bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds.
Pickerel remains one of the most iconic and beloved cottages on the property, balancing rustic simplicity with warmth and comfort.
Quiet and intimate lakeside studio retreat for couples or visiting guests. $675/week
STUDIO ROOM
Sleeping up to 2 guests, the Studio Room offers a peaceful and comfortable retreat tucked beside the lodge patio and close to the waterfront.
Designed as an open studio-style accommodation, the space includes a queen bed, sitting area, and private bathroom with shower. Warm wood interiors and soft natural light create a calm and restful atmosphere ideal for couples or solo visitors looking to unplug and slow down.
While the Studio Room does not include a full kitchen, a kettle is provided for tea and coffee, with easy access to the lake, dock, and surrounding resort grounds.
Simple overnight accommodation ideal for overflow guests or short stays. $630/week
OVERNIGHT ROOM
Sleeping up to 2 guests, the Overnight Room offers a modest and practical accommodation option for visitors seeking a quiet place to stay while enjoying the lake and surrounding property.
The room includes two single beds and a sink, with nearby access to shower and washroom facilities located in an adjacent building. Often rented alongside Rooster Cottage for larger family gatherings, the Overnight Room works well as overflow accommodation for grandparents, teenagers, or visiting friends.
Simple, affordable, and relaxed, it provides an easy lakeside stay rooted in the traditional spirit of the resort.
